“I refine what’s already there until it speaks clearly.”
The Work
Her work explores emotion, contrast, and identity through charcoal-inspired digital art, where depth is not just visual but felt. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation from Sam Houston State University, she approaches each piece with a trained eye for structure, movement, and form. While building her work with the same discipline used to bring stories to life frame by frame.
That foundation shows in the way she handles charcoal. Every shadow is placed with intention. Every highlight carries weight. The detail is not added for perfection, but for presence.
She is drawn to quiet moments, the tension between light and shadow, and the subtle imperfections that make a piece feel alive. Through life drawing and observational study, she learned to embrace what cannot be controlled and allowed each flaw to become a part of the story rather than something to correct.
Art has always been her space to feel, think, and recognize beauty within the raw and unfinished. Every mark holds meaning, not because it is perfect, but because it is honest
What Built Her
Her path was not built in one place. It moved across schools, apartments, cities, and states, teaching her how to adapt, create, and rebuild without losing herself.
She did not grow up in formal art spaces. Her foundation started in orchestra, while her creativity lived in the margins—small doodles, sketchbook pages, and moments where random scribbles turned into something more. She taught herself how to see beyond what was there, often transforming a single line into an entirely new story.
Art became her way of staying focused. Even through change, she kept creating. Not perfectly, but consistently. Not loudly, but with intention.
After surviving an apartment fire on April 7, 2018, she made a decision to move forward with purpose. Since the age of 19, she has built her life on her own terms—earning her degree, growing her craft, becoming a wife, and a mother of two.
Everything she creates carries that same mindset: keep going, keep building, and make something meaningful out of what you’re given.
Why She Creates
She creates from a place of freedom and belief in what is possible. Her work is shaped by experience, but never defined by it. It stands as proof that something meaningful can be built no matter where you start or what you’ve faced.
Her art invites connection. Each piece holds depth, story, and intention that is meant to be felt in different ways by anyone who encounters it. There is no single way to see it, only space to experience it.
Her purpose is to remind people that even the roughest, darkest marks can be shaped, deepened, and redefined into something meaningful. A piece never has to be finished just because it looks done.
Where It's Going
Right now, she is focused on expanding her charcoal-inspired digital work, pushing depth, detail, and emotion in every piece she creates. Her work is intentional, grounded, and built to hold presence.
She is committed to developing a body of work that reflects growth, resilience, and identity. While allowing each piece to speak while building something larger over time.
She continues to build toward opportunities in creative spaces, remaining open to remote roles and work within the DFW area.
