“I refine what’s already there until it speaks clearly.”
The Work
Her work explores emotion, contrast, and identity through charcoal inspired digital art. With a background in animation and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sam Houston State University, she builds each piece with structure, intention, and depth.
She is drawn to quiet moments, the tension between light and shadow, and the details that are often overlooked.
Art has always been a space where she can feel, think, and recognize beauty within the flaws. Every mark carries meaning.
What Built Her
Her journey moved across schools, apartments, cities, and states. There were moments where everything was lost more than once, and she learned how to rebuild each time.
After surviving an apartment fire on April 7, 2018, she chose to move forward with intention.
She has been on her own since 19. Through it all, she earned her degree, built a life, got married, and became a mother of two.
Why She Creates
She creates from a place of freedom and hope.
Her work is shaped by experience and meant for those who value depth, story, and connection in what they bring into their space.
Where It's Going
Right now, she is expanding through charcoal style digital pieces and the development of children’s books centered around imagination, growth, and identity.
She is focused on creating work that feels meaningful within the Black community and continues to build toward animation through storytelling.
She is also open to remote opportunities and creative roles within the DFW area.
